The Art of Arrival
About Me
Growing up, my home was always the place to entertain. My parents were masters of setting the scene for every occasion: my mom created beautifully adorned tables, while my dad went up on the ladder and did all of the lights and garland, transforming our house into a festive wonderland. I was their little helper, eager to see the magical result of all the lights and pine scented greenery.
Of all the spaces in our home, the doorway was always my favorite. It felt like the grand introduction to everything that followed inside—the first impression when guests arrived for Thanksgiving dinner, the spot where children eagerly knocked on Halloween for trick-or-treat, or the backdrop for a stolen kiss under the mistletoe, perfect for a romantic photo. The doorway, to me, has always been more than just an entryway; it’s the threshold where memories are made and traditions come to life.
My personal favorites are simple yet timeless: strands of soft white lights, lush green garlands, and classic red bows. Together, they create a nostalgic scene straight out of an old-fashioned holiday postcard, a reminder of how something as simple as a well-decorated entrance can set the tone for unforgettable moments inside.
Crafted to Capture the Season
Our designs are thoughtfully created to embody the warmth, joy, and magic of every season. Whether you're celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving, or the festive winter holidays, we bring your doorway to life with a custom blend of seasonal charm. For Halloween, we transform your entryway with spooky yet stylish details—think eerie lanterns, flickering jack-o-lanterns, elegant wreaths adorned with black ribbons, cobwebs, and bats, creating a hauntingly beautiful first impression. Add in seasonal touches like glowing pumpkins, autumn leaves, and themed doormats to welcome trick-or-treaters with flair.
As fall deepens, Thanksgiving brings a warm and rustic charm to your entrance. We incorporate harvest elements such as lush autumn garlands made of colorful leaves, dried corn husks, and clusters of pumpkins and gourds. A festive wreath with natural accents like acorns, berries, and wheat stalks completes the look, evoking the gratitude and togetherness of the season.
Then, as winter approaches, your doorway becomes a festive focal point. We switch to lush garlands interwoven with twinkling lights, wreaths adorned with pinecones, ornaments, and ribbons, and classic red bows to embody the joy of the holidays. Lanterns, poinsettias, and festive doormats complement the look, creating an entrance that radiates warmth, magic, and celebration for any occasion.
“From start to finish, working with Zulima was pleasant and stress free. The florals for the wedding were perfect and beyond what we could have imagined.”
